Parents involvement

Parents also play a very important role in school-career choices. Because research shows that parents have a lot of influence on the choice process of their children. But this can change if we support parents in helping to choose.

The image that the parent has of certain educations and professions may not be (anymore) correct. Unconsciously, parents can steer their child in a certain direction. The same applies to the choice of further education. Which educations offer good employment prospects and which type of work suits him/her. New educations are constantly being added and other educations are being discontinued. Existing educations are also changing. By investigating the possibilities, parents can assess multiple educations and professions together with their child based on an experience, instead of on a vague image.
